Actually, a recent snafu a buddy of mine had has me re-thinking if I'll EVER buy DLC or ARCADE titles via XBL. You can kiss your paid-for title and DLC goodbuy if you ever lose your high speed connection. At least that's what he experienced and was told after posting to a help site.

Don't 'bag on a game just because it was released before you were born. Crimson Skies was a great game. Played thru once and have been thinking of picking it up again...

This is just more incentive for SONY to do what they should've been doing from the beginning, developing exclusive titles to play-up the power of their console. Not rely on 3rd parties to do it for them.
Would be cool if they did, since last time I checked my Riddick Disk it wasn't back compatible, nor is it on the latest B.C. list... A shame because the only thing Riddick for xbox needed was a good dose of anti-aliasing, which the 360 would enable automatically. So offering it over LIVE might work,....
HOWEVER! I remember hearing a blurb a while back that RIDDICK was being re-worked for next-gen platforms.

No wonder the Gamestop clerk had no idea when I asked him to pre-order the LE... Considering they had BOTH the std. ed. and ltd. ed. cases on the top row with "Pre-Order NOW" slapped on them. wtf?
Same deal for Assasin's Creed, they said they have no sku for a LE, but they have both boxes up... durrrrr. Oh well, I'll just order it online and save some gas.

The 360 is "comfy" hardware to code for. This imo is a double-edged sword for 360 owners. We get some great titles sooner as it can "easily" be programmed. Unfortunately given the 360 architecture they are also easy to kick to the PC for more revenue (ergo pseudo-exclusives). There is the incentive to develop for.
The PS3 is harder to code for, but once devs are comfortable w/ the hardware it won't only see some amazing stuff, especia...
